If you’re booking an in-home massage with Your Sedona Massage, a little preparation helps you get the most out of your massage. These simple steps make it easier to relax, let go of tension, and enjoy your treatment from start to finish.

Take a quick shower before your appointment
Clean, warm skin helps massage oil glide more smoothly, allowing for better pressure and fluid movement during your session. It also helps you feel refreshed and ready to fully relax. (Plus, I appreciate it!)
Hydrate before and after
Drink water before your massage to help your muscles stay supple, and again afterward to support circulation and flush out any metabolic waste released during the session.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing
If you’re getting a full-body massage, you’ll be professionally draped throughout. A robe is a great option before and after your session — it’s easy, comfortable, and keeps you cozy while I set up and clean up. Also read, What to Wear Before and During Your Massage.
Create a calm space for your in-home massage
Choose a quiet area with enough room for the massage table and space to move around it. I bring everything needed, including music and supplies. If you have pets, it helps to keep them in another room during your session so you can fully relax without distractions.
Communicate your preferences
Before we start, let me know about any areas of tension, injuries, or pressure preferences. A little communication helps me tailor the session to your body’s needs that day.
