It’s a common question — and a good one! If you’re booking an in-home massage in Sedona, you might be wondering how tipping works.
The short answer: gratuities are never required, but always appreciated.
Why tipping matters
An in-home massage is a little different from a spa visit — I bring everything to you, from the massage table and linens to music and oils. Each appointment includes travel, setup, and packing up afterward — which means unloading and carrying the massage table in and out for every session.
A tip is simply a thoughtful way to say “thank you” for that extra level of service and convenience.
How much is typical?
For massage therapy, 20% of the session price is standard — about $25 for a $120 session. Some clients adjust their tip amount based on their overall experience.
Easy ways to leave a gratuity
You can add a tip when booking online, or leave cash (or Venmo) after your session — whatever feels easiest.
